Prithviraj in ‘Season’ remake
]There is one more film being added to the remake list of Prithviraj. The young superstar of Mollywood will replay the role Jeevan lived by Mohanlal in the remake of the 1989 film 'Season', written and directed by the late P. Padmarajan.
The movie portrayed the of drug mafia in the beaches of Kovalam. Mohanlal played an innocent trader selling foreign goods in the beaches. He is falsely framed for three murders, including that of his two friends who is actually killed by the drug mafia.
Though the movie was not a hit at the box office, the sensitive portrayal of the lead character by Mohanlal was well appreciated. Padmarajan's realistic story-telling style also came for praises. All hope the changed times would do justice to the story now.
